Bahrain tweeting explodes after Saudi intervention



The score of 89 out of 100 is the highest we have ever seen for the Island and is more in line with a major city like London, Paris or New York.

This is a familiar pattern we have seen in protests in Madison Wisconsin and Tahrir Square. Efforts by a regime or government to rapidly crush a protests result in an explosion of web based communication between players in the protest, including mobile web use. We are seeing the web used as a way for protesters to respond in an agile way.
