Heavy tweeting coming from Oxford Street right now

Lots of faces painted at the protest that the web .30 lab covered. Photo BY Gail, Orenstein we.3.0 lab/Cima

There was a lot of facebbok users at the protest. The majority of young people I asked were keeping in touch on the ground via facebook. This young woman was sending a facebook message to her friends about where to meet up-Photo By Gail Orenstein. Web 3.0 Lab/Clima.

There is a heavy concentrate of tweeting coming from the occupation taking place in Oxford street. Though the protests are not as large as in Hyde Park the tweeting levels are extremely high.

  1. If you're going to grad school to be a computer programmer, you're going to get out and get a job as a computer programmer. If you're going to grad school in the humanities, you're more likely going to end up as "a telephone operator" or an adjunct (which pays less), or maybe you'll just be unemployed. It maynot seemfree pornNavle piercinglike it's about the money when you start out, because you're passionate about your subject and delusional about your future prospects, but it damn sure is about the money when you get to the end and can't find work after all those years you slaved away pursuing the "life of the mind."
