@ Spencer Haskins is a user of our tweeter meter tool. KC_Spencer has made some amazing use of the tool to track news events.

Spencer Haskins is tracking the impact of the Tsunami on tweeting around the north Pacific. Very interesting findings.

Soon we will have a tool that collects world wide data for 10,000s of data points, but until we have that we have collaborators like Spencer.

Right now we are seeing Honolulu, HI tweeting at 71 This is high since the population of the entire city is not even a half million and it is not even 1 am local time. This does show people are using Twitter and we can only assume information about the Tsunami is coming in.

But, though we are big fans of Twitter information networks and their agility, this is probably one time people should turn on the TV and do precisely what the State tells them to do.
