Bangkok flooding and tweeting
As we have noted before that you can tell the extent of destruction of a natural disaster by looking at its impact on twitter.
Japan's tsunami left a massive region of destruction ending tweeting on the east coast of much of the nation
. So the impact of recent floods in Bangkok have given us a test case.
This shows the concentration of tweets in Bangkok on the October 19, before the worst of the flooding hit Bangkok.
Here is the 23rd of October
